I work with young people aged between 18-25 to build confidence based on self-esteem not ego. I intersperse my own story throughout, and use the creative element of the ‘Jiggsaw’ platform, to help connect individuals with their core self.
The Shaw Mind Foundation
I work as a trainer/consultant delivering mental health strategies to corporate companies and universities. I use my extensive experience of working within the BBC, to educate and identify areas where creativity and productivity is being affected by mental ill health.
Beat Eating Disorders
I am an ambassador for B-eat, sharing my personal journey of recovery from an eating disorder, to inspire others and reduce the stigma. I also work with my mum who educates families and carers on how to support their loved one.
I have been involved with Mind, delivering ‘Jiggsy’ workshops at their annual Peerfest; Mind’s, national event celebrating the importance, power and diversity of peer support.
I am a qualified ‘Carolyn Costin Institute Eating Disorder Coach.’ I work with clients to inspire, motivate and navigate treatment goals in real life situations. I believe recovery is 100% possible for everyone, and use my own recovery journey by acting as a role model and guide, to enable clients to accomplish day-to-day behaviour changes.
Reach Academy Feltham
I incorporate the ‘Jiggsaw’ platform to help students build resilience and confidence from within. I use stories from my own recovery, to inspire students to connect with each other, in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
