But it’s only now that my body is hurting everyday that I realise I will be paying for it for the years to come.
I’ve gone days eating the bare minimum, I’ve danced when my toes are red raw, and I’ve painted the smile on over the tears. I became an actress.
I’m getting older and have had to face the harsh reality that my body is not desirable to the ballet world. Rejection after rejection. I just can’t take it anymore.
