Don’t Let Recovery Slip

“I feel like I’m walkin’ a tight rope without a circus net – Poppin’ Percocet, I’m a nervous wreck.”

Eminem had it right when he wrote those lyrics. I have hit a new rock bottom, and am struggling to get myself back up.

I have been here before, so I know I have it in me. I let my recovery slip, I got complacent. Stayed at work too late, stopped looking after myself and here I am, an anxious mess.

It’s easy to keep going, pretending that you won’t let yourself get bad again, but take it from me…it creeps up, and before you know it…

BOOM 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

I have learnt from my past, so this time I am going to reach out, take some time out and head to the hills. I need to reconnect with myself far away from the view of my office window.”
