I Just Want Someone To Listen

“All I ever wanted was for someone to actually genuinely acknowledge my problem. Not the ‘it’ll be ok’, fob me off because you’re too in denial that I have an issue, kinda acknowledgement. You know the actual realisation that your son has real problems and he is shouting for help by not eating.
Thousands spent on therapy, jobs lost, grades not as good as they could be and yet I still, to this day, fight to have my issue heard.”
