I’m Drowning

“Every day has been a struggle. With my family, my friends, my teachers but mainly myself. I’m told so much information that I can’t see the light anymore. I hear but I don’t listen. The encompassing gaggle of sound, envelopes me and takes me deeper downwards. I’m resistant but I make it look like I understand. I accept what people say knowing that when they are gone ill do the absolute opposite. There is no greater ocean than the one I’m in now but I know there is hope…I just need to learn how to swim again.”
