“When I was a wee girl I was an absolute nightmare at dinner time. You could possibly say I was the pickiest eater that ever did come . It’s no surprise that my parents had had enough of my lark and I was made to eat elsewhere if I didn’t rally it in. Anyhow I grew up and that devilish behaviour soon turned into a character trait. Even now the husband wears thin of me creating a palava every time there is a spread out but he’s learnt that’s just my way. I accept my disorder and we make do. I guess that’s my way of recovery.”
