“Growing up in South London and being 1 of 5 people was hard. From a young age I was bullied by peeps that I thought I could trust.
Through my primary years I was mentally and physically bullied. It got so bad that I had to move schools. I had a break for a year and then went to high school, and the bullying started up again. For 5 years I was teased and felt like I couldn’t do anything right. I was either too fat, or I was a gossip, or I walked the wrong way.
But with amazing family and support, I was able to come out of that situation and progress to getting a level 3 diploma in childcare, and project all positive thoughts.
I still suffer from some of these things, like depression and anxiety, but I know that will change.”
