We All Need Help

“I used to think that asking for help was admitting failure. But one of the first things my therapist taught me was that, recovery is not possible on your own.

I hated asking others for support. I didn’t want to be a burden and my pride was in the way, but I decided that going it alone wasn’t working for me, so I started reaching out.

It’s been huge for me, and although not everyone was able to be there for me all the time, I always found someone to be there.

We all need help, don’t be afraid. It takes strength to realise that it’s OK…more than OK to ask for help. Let others into your world.”
