You are YOU, not anorexia!
“I think all too often when you’ve been unwell for a long period of time there’s a danger that anorexia becomes your identity; it’s what you’re known for.
I don’t want to be known as ‘Mima, the anorexic one’, so with every will in the world I am currently fighting hard to prevent anorexia stealing my identity, it’s already stolen far too much. It’s hard work, and totally out of my comfort zone, but I’m joining different clubs, discovering new hobbies, as well as reigniting some old ones.
The picture I’m sharing is to remind me of all the things that truly make up Mima, and that is not anorexia. This illness doesn’t have to define you.”
