Not In The Driving Seat?

My eating disorder was all about control. It was the one thing I was good at, when I felt not good enough in all the other areas of my life. It was also a way to alleviate uncomfortable feelings and the unknown. Sitting with anxiety and feeling unable to change situations is a hard place to be. But despite being tested these past few months, I have come to accept that some things are just not in my power to change, and that is OK. I need to use my energy to focus on what I can change.
